sorry for being mia.

things have been a little crazy.

-i have been laughing my butt off with my family. my brother cracks me up.

-i have been going on some adventures because i will be leaving the lovely state of utah. i am going to miss the mountains and the beautiful green.

-fishing adventures that turn into finding a tree and fort in the middle of the mountains and playing on them. stellar.

-packing. shopping. no sleep.

see, crazy. but thats ok, its a fun crazy.

wait what day of the week is it? is it really wednesday? whoa. well, happy wednesday!

french toast waffles.

 we had french toast waffles (yes thats what i said) the other night. they were awesome, and we had a great time. we made waffles, danced, and had cadburry egg eating contests. i want to do it again soon, because it was a stellar time.

story of the smiling doll.

there was this one time when i was at my friends house and we were hanging out with his little sisters. we were down stairs watching Jonah Hex, when we heard lots and lots of giggling coming from upstairs.
meh.. didnt really think to much of it until...
we walked in his room and found a doll sitting on his bed.
smiling at us.
he grabbed the doll and we walked into her room. he grabbed her ipod headphones and started to wrap it around the dolls neck. he looked both ways looking for a place to hang it.
i opened up the closet door and we proceeded to wrap the headphones around the bar.
then it hung there.
smiling.
we shut the closet door.
the next morning i saw she posted something on facebook.
and i laughed out loud, even harder than we were in her room.
she is probably scarred for life.
probably because she is 12.
man, we have to much fun when we are together.

back in the day.

i shouldn't be that hard to find considering i'm the only sunburned one.
that was probably the WORST sunburn i have ever received in my life so far, and i have had my fair share of sunburns. blast you red hair and irish skin. it was fun to see these old pictures from high school. i love these girls. i am also jealous of their skin.

but i must say im still an 80's girl.

tonight was the Murder Mystery Dinner for university. The 3 Ash's and Alley got all dolled up in 1940's attire, and we had a blast.

Molley: the head cheerleader, and former class president. she and Lana are best friends, but hates Phineas.

Lana: married to Phineas but really loves Frankie.

Phineas: Lana's husband, and big shot surgeon with a huge ego. no one really likes him

Frankie: the bad boy that all women love

Gloria: very much manly and single. she would do anything to fall in love

Peggy: wanted to be a famous movie star, but instead became a librarian. a very nervous woman

Cliff: used to be number 1 selling horror writing, but hasn't been doing well with his sales.

Milton: psychologist. wanted to impress everyone tonight but failed miserably. causing him to rage all night.

At the end of the night Phineas and Frankie were dead.

lets play with best friends and carve pumpkins this weekend.

 this weekend was a blast. friday i had a girls night with best friend and we went to dinner, a football game and then treated ourselves to yummy frozen yogurt.

 i basically love her and i'm so grateful for awesome friends(that includes you logan).

saturday i played with my little sister and then went to carve pumpkins with some friends. we basically are pro's at pumpkin carving.

today i was spiritually lifted at church listening to the beautiful testimonies, and talks. i just love the gospel, my family and all my great friends.

this afternoon i had a friend over and i was showing him my pumpkin(picture above)

me: "look at this fun pumpkin!"

boy: "is that a cat?"

me: "no it's a three headed dog....*shifting eyes*"

boy: "oh..."laughing

yay for a great weekend, and for great friends!

chili run in the canyon.

at our house we love when it the leaves start to color bright colors because that's when we know it's chili run time. on sundays we(grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles) gather together in the canyon for dinner. it's so much fun and we are so lucky to be able to live so close to each other.

life is a highway.

Life has been crazy around these parts of town. Homework, class, work, ambassadors, more homework, sleep, eat, workout. That's my life. But to be honest, I'm the happiest I have been in a very long time. Yes I still have struggles everyday(with trying to get everything done) but I'm loving it. I think when you get to a point in your life where you hit rock bottom, then you start seeing light you need to embrace it and love it.

So this weekend my momma and I hit the upper part of the state for some shopping. I'll have to post my treasures I got tomorrow. On Monday we also had a huge family brunch. Lots and lots of food, laughs, and hugs. They had sticky buns, eggs, sausage, fruit and orange juice. I made me the famous LTL banana pancakes. Seriously they are so so yummy! Later that night some friends and I met up and had a bon fire.
A couple of my guy friends are in a band, so they brought their guitars and sang songs around the camp fire. Great way to end the weekend if you ask me..

moving to a university.

school starts tomorrow, and i'm a little stressed out about it.
collegetown has 1,500 students and university has 30,000 students. you see the stress?
i dont know what to wear. and by that i mean i haven't gone school clothes shopping yet.
take that back, i did get a pair of jeans.
what if i cant find my classes?
i have not purchased my books yet, so hopefully my teachers won't give any homework.
institute starts tonight.
hopefully i can make some new friends.
i have a headache right now. and the butterflies in my stomach are fluttering up into my throat.
k, but for real. what do i wear?!!

sometimes i love when someone throws a Frisbee and it skids right past my face. intense.
sometimes i love when I have made a tube of toothpaste last way longer than it should.

little story of my wednesday night

I went longboarding last night in a canyon, with a boy.

I ate the asphalt, then rolled down a hill. Literally.

He chased after me (what a good guy).

We laughed.

I am now saying hello to my new friends that are staying on my hands, elbow and thigh. Lucky me.

P.S. I have only been longboarding once before. And by once before, I mean in my culdesac.

Not to shabby for my second time, eh?

It's True. I LOVE dancing. Last weekend was Jigga's birthday bash. So we had a HUGE dance party in one of the parking lots. It was fun..until the cops came and shut it down. Dang it. It was legit too. Mocktails, dancing, dj, lights, loads and loads and LOADS of people, and a photobooth. Now you know what I mean when I say legit. Dude..it was awesome!

ps. I say dude to both gengers.

p.s.s. I went to college town on wednesday night just because I miss all my friends. And I'm going back tomorrow. I CANT wait. The only thing that has been running in my mind lately(ok not the only thing) is that I wish I would have stayed this semester....

Dude...Look at that meat!!! ugh. I think I'm an unknown vegetarian because I never eat meat. And my meat I mean that comes from a pig or cow. That's beside the point..the point is that we had a bbq for the ward the other day. Bff J and I are in the activities committee, so we went to get all the food and stuff. Yeah, we shop in bulk. Aint nothin but a thang. Also speaking of bulk..that is not a double chin on my face I promise. I was making a weird face..and that is just the end product. Dont Judge.

Yes, I washed my hand twice before touching this meat. It...was really..*cough* awesome.

P.S. Arent we just all LOVING the awesome weather? It just makes our hearts full of joy when its sunny. Well, and our bellies because of all the freaking BBQ's. Yeeess!

21st Birthday ShinDig

Um, Hi. I can't believe I'm one year older..maybe, not so wiser too. So my Birthday was SO FUN! It just was chill. I spent all day with my family and friends. I loved it. Then I had a birthday party that weekend. We watch Ms. Doubtfire on the projector in my backyard. Here are some pics of the awesomeness!

A Chocolate Mess is the best way to De-Stress

Some of my guy friends have been having a really stressful week. So Shelby and I wanted to make them a treat, just to let them know we care. So we made these bad boys . Rice Crispy Treats in the shape of an egg(for Easterrzzz), then dipped in Milk Chocolate. umm hi. DELISH! Ohh...and they were.

After being a chocolate mess, we wanted to clean up a bit. SEE!

You know..since I will be turning twenty one, im going to name 3 things(because 2+1=3) I'm in love with as of this moment. Ok so, saying it out loud, it sounds really confusing. So there is was laughing with my comfort slacks down to my ankles by the fish tanks at target.."

 The SUN was out today and shining ever so beautifully today. Serioulsy my heart of was so full of joy. Even my bosses said I had way to much energy. Well it was either that, or me going "Unts unts unts" while raising the roof in the aisleway..

For such great people around me. Serioulsy I have been so blessed to have been able to come in contact with such great people. They are awesome, and I love them.
