march update.

this has been a big month. i first went to washington for a funeral, but played lots with my family. i love them.
i turned 22. whoah
the girls and i aka bestfriend, aunt julie, momma joni, my mom, and i had a girls night. SO MUCH FUN!  we got pedicures, deep conditioned our hair, made dinner, and watched a movie. i love them.
i got invited to an irish st pattys party. we ate irish grub, and danced around the huge fire. HUGE FIRE!
this past wednesday i got the best letter in the mail. HOUSTON TEXAS here i come!
i'm so thankful for everyones support and love. i am so thankful and so blessed to have such great friends and family. this is the happiest i have been in my whole life, and i love it. thank you for all your sweet comments and i hope you have a lovely weekend! happy friday.

we had a family get together to celebrate my grandparents, and cousin quins birthday. my nana made the awesome cake, and we all enjoyed it. we just sat around and told funny stories because thats how we role in this family. my uncle then pulled out the guitar started playing some rock songs for us. my cousin also played a couple songs that he is learning. i love my family. they are all so talented and so funny. ps, my cousins are adorable. i love gabbi and lily. when we walk in the mall they tell people they are twins. they are not twins, but they are best friends. im so glad we live close to each other so we are able to have get togethers a lot. i love them.
last week was a little discouraging, and i hate being negative. hence the crappy posts, but every one goes through that right? this week has been much better but really busy. i was actually supposed to go to arizona tomorrow for a wedding. well my ride bailed, so some college town friends planned a vegas trip and wanted me to come along. things were not working out in my favor and i couldn't go. THEN yesterday i found out a close family member passed away, so i will now be going to a funeral. wow its amazing how plans can change so fast in one week. we will see what happens.

on a happy note, my birthday is next week!!! happy st patricks day to everyone!!

this weekend i went to stay out at my cousins house to tend over night. we had LOTS of fun. my little cousin lily(the little red head on my shoulders) loved getting on my shoulders. "run faster, run faster!"

we then went around giving high fives with her foot, and she was laughing so hard. i also ate blue candy with my other cousin. love the tongues? yeah we did too. 

man family is the best, and i love them.

holidays equals love.

the holidays are the best time of the year because we get to spend it with the ones we love. i LOVE all my family and friends. how thankful i am for them. the holidays have been so great. we had lots of laughs with papa and cousin. i also went to bestfriends game to watch her cheer. kesley kels came up for a couple hours last thursday and we had so much fun together. we ran LOTS of errands and shared some great laughs. i went and saw TRON(awesome movie!) with two friends who share the same love for nikes. little sis and i purchased the same hat. best purchase ever. can you believe 2010 is almost over? im excited for 2011 and all the adventures that will take place. who's ready to take on 2011?!

family weekend.

last weekend we had the opportunity to get away as a family. every year we have a little get away spot that we go to, and it is so much fun. we played, laughed, talked, took pictures, swam, and even played in a little fort. i love family, and they are such a blessing. i'm glad we were able to have such a fun time together.

hope everyone gets to cuddle up in warm clothes, and drink hot cocoa today because it's starting to get cold outside. enjoy

chili run in the canyon.

at our house we love when it the leaves start to color bright colors because that's when we know it's chili run time. on sundays we(grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles) gather together in the canyon for dinner. it's so much fun and we are so lucky to be able to live so close to each other.

camping.

i went camping with some of my family last weekend, and we had a blast. brother, cousin and i met up with my uncle, grandparents, and one other cousin friday night. the drive there was so much fun, because brother, cousin and i just sat and laughed our butts off the whole way.
when we were there we caught some fish, cooked good food, chilled out under the beautiful stars, and just enjoyed one another. i love my family.
 the only downfall was when we were driving back it took 8 1/2 hours to get home due to a fire in wyoming(it normally takes only 3 hours). thus causing us to pass through 3 different states, and one LONG drive. it's always an adventure with ash att that's for dang sure.

lately i have been thinking alot about how beautiful it is this month. the colors, the weather, and the new adventures.

speaking of the weekend, yesterday my brother, cousin and i decided that we are going to wyoming to go camping.

my grandparents are up there now, so we are just going to go meet up with them.

kind of spur of the moment, but i think that's the best part.

My Dad is the best in the world because...

He puts the family first. loves my mom and us kids. works hard in everything he does. sets a great example for us. honors his priesthood.  fixes ANYTHING (such as cars, dishwashers, fridges..basically everything that breaks down.). loves motorcycles(now you know where I get it from). great cook. when I was little he actually did my hair cute and left out all the crappy puffy bows..and bangs(thanks!). shows us love everyday.

For the past week and a half I have been in CALIFORNIA! It was so much fun! The weather was beyond awesome, and so sunny. The whole trip the only song I would sing was "California Girls" by Katy Perry.

I loved all the rollercoasters! Except for Tatsu, I may or may not have said a potty mouth word on that one. Oh, and don't even worry I lost a shoe on X2. Yup, it was all in slow motion. It was at the very end of the ride when we did one last flip, and my shoe just launched off my foot. I screamed (in the slow motion kind of way) NOOOOO!! But it was to late. I walked off the ride and the security guys started laughing at me. Boo on them. So what did we do you ask? I went and got some flip flops and continued on our day. Then when the park closed I got my shoe. Thank heavens! And thanks to my family who waited for me to get it, even though we were all starving.  At least I have a funny story to tell right?

Oh, and I took this picture because I thought he was HAWT and wanted to talk to him. Aint nothin but a thang...

Anyway I loved spending the time with my family and in the sweetness of Cali. Hope you all had a great week!

HOLLA! I'm so stoked!! I havent been to Sea World in a long time. Long time as in when I was 6 ha. What fun things should we do there? Any ideas?

Shay had a piano concert yesterday with her class, and played like a champ. She even got an award for practicing the most and also for being able to write songs. You go SIS!!

Also, there are going to be some new things to the blog. I'm starting a new "meal plan" called Kristi Approved. My friend at work has been doing the diet and already lost about 15 lbs. She's only in the 8th week! So once a week I'm going to be posting some pictures and talking about how it's going, and how I am feeling and such. I love it because she teaches you HOW to cook good meals and eat well. It's not like one of the quick fix diets. I'll let you know how it goes. Check out the website and look for yourself! She even lets you do WEEK 1 for free! Holla! I'm excited to see what I look like in 12 weeks. I'M GOING TO DO THIS!!!
